Monday morning marked the beginning of my month long trek around the southern states, and eventually down to the Dominican Republic. The weeks leading up to this point have been slammed with photo shoots, lots of errand running, organizing the details for an upcoming event (that I can’t wait to share with all of you soon), trying to squeeze 3 weeks worth of stuff in a carry-on sized luggage (which was a success, I might add)…and then packing a separate bag for the D.R. For those of you who don’t know me well enough, packing for long trips, especially for international destinations, tends to bring out a few OCD tendencies in me. The most predominant one being that I find it necessary to check to make sure I have remembered my passport, driver’s license, and debit card an insane amount of times between when I first pack them and when I head through airport security. For a minute, I thought I’d elaborate on just how ridiculous it gets, but have now decided against the idea. Just know it’s bad…real bad. And then I go through the same process with all of my camera equipment. So, for obvious reasons, I HATE packing (and unpacking, for that matter) with a passion. But the journey is always worth it. Getting to travel around the world and experience so many things that life has to offer will never get old, and I’m so blessed to have these opportunities.
And now that I’m done with my little tangent, I’ll get to the point of this post. Amongst all the craziness of the past couple of weeks, I haven’t had time to blog some of my most recent photo sessions. So, I’ve decided to take a moment to share a few of my favorites with you. I love sweet little babies! 🙂
