When I was first starting out on my path as a photographer, my dad became my mentor. He’s the one who first taught me about f-stops, film speeds, and light meters. He’d drive me around town and we’d find things to take pictures of, just for the sake of taking pictures. I’ve now come to love the job of mentor, or teacher, myself. I love to talk about photography and see the excitement on someone’s face when they learn something new.
Would you like to learn how to become a better photographer, how to start your own photography business, or learn great tips and tricks of the trade? Maybe you have a DSLR camera but haven’t quite gotten the hang of all the features it has to offer, or you are unsure about what lenses would best suit your needs. Whether photography is a hobby or you are an aspiring professional wanting to learn more about the business, I offer both one-on-one and small group mentor sessions focusing on your particular interests. The beauty of one-on-one sessions is that I can cater to your exact experience level and can work around your schedule to set up a time that works great for you. I offer various options ranging from one 3-hour session to a 3-day intensive workshop.
