I came across these photos today and thought I’d share. Just some fun shots to finish up some rolls of film from our Europe trip back in May. This was my first experience using Kodak Ektar so I wanted to test it out in a variety of lighting situations. Love it for most purposes. Not sure how I feel about it for portrait work yet.

A few weeks ago I headed back to South Carolina to spend time with family and to photograph my “little” cousin for her high school senior portraits (she’s probably been taller than me since she was 12). After being diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 9, Ashlyn fought a hard fight and has been in remission for about 8 years now, which made it a little extra special to photograph her and the beautiful young lady she has become. 🙂

I am excited to be teaching again at AVA in August. It will be a 3-day class on photography fundamentals. If you’d like more information, click here. There is limited space for the class, so sign up early!
