Jessica and Jordache: Lake Wateree, SC

I first met Jessica when I photographed her cousin’s wedding last year.  She had such a fun personality so I was excited when she contacted me about shooting her wedding in Lake Wateree.  When we met up for her consultation, she told me all about how she’d had her eye on Jordache during her college years and how they ended up reconnecting about a year ago and hit it off immediately.  We ended up talking and laughing for over an hour at all the things we had in common in our “dating lives” and how their wedding would be very different than most.  Jessica and Jordache both had agreed that they wanted their wedding to be very intimate and casual. They specifically requested that I take only candid shots of the day spent on the lake riding jet skis and boats, fishing, and enjoying each other’s company…stress free.  For me, this wedding was unlike any other. No time crunches or long shot lists, not even a wedding party.  Just family. The wedding day came with a threat of rain and thunderstorms but, with the exception of a light shower that lasted just long enough to keep the temperature down, the weather was perfect.  Congratulations you two, and thanks for allowing me to share the day with you and your family.

One of the sweetest and most emotional ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed…
